Warning! Discussions about "Breaking Dawn" and the rest of the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer will be discussed here. Don't read any farther, unless you want the ending and plot to be spoiled.
I finished the book yesterday and felt a good size let down. I thought the wedding, honeymoon, pregnancy, birth and Bella's transformation to a vampire was too heaped together. I was disappointed that Bella didn't get to be bitten by Edward, but rather she was artificially created as a vampire.
I'm still a Jacob fan, as he's more real than Edward. Jacob imprinted on Renesmee and I thought that was an interesting twist, although there was already another werewolf/shapeshifter keeping an eye on a toddler that he imprinted on. I didn't think it too creepy, either, as it seemed like a geniune caring love.
And what about Bella feeling chilled and wanting to sag against the headboard or couch (book not in front of me) at Alice and Jasper's place when she felt so overwhelmed? I didn't think vampires reacted to hot or cold or emotional fatigue. Is Bella not a 100% vampire? It seemed like there were some loose ends.
Plus, I wanted the Volturi to go down and they didn't. That showdown was tedious.
My thoughts, only.

Harry Potter Party
What a fun night! Fifteen teens enjoyed a potions class, divination (tea leaf reading), spells class, wand duels, Harry Potter Jeopardy and watching Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone on the big screen. We served Cockroach Clusters, Troll Toenails and Toe Jam, Bertie Botts Beans, Acid Pops, Butter Beer and Dragon Snot. A great time was had by all. My favorite spell cast during the wand duel was "a temporary two hour slumber" translated from the Latin. Hello - that's a nap!
Congratulations to Teressa B. who won a copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at the midnight drawing. Other winners include Collin P. for best costume who won a copy of "Magical Worlds of Harry Potter" and Gryffindor House (Austin M., Elizabeth K., Teressa B., Craig M.) who each won $5 gift cards from Borders.
